Hi all,
I've got a spreadsheet here which I'm trying to add a comment to. But when I do
so, I get the error message:
org.apache.poi.openxml4j.exceptions.InvalidOperationException: A part
with the name '/xl/comments1.xml' already exists : Packages shall not contain
equivalent part names and package implementers shall neither create nor
recognize packages with equivalent part names. [M1.12]
Unfortunately I can't recreate the problem with a different spreadsheet; I have
no idea how it got into the state it did. But looking under the hood, I see a
sheet named 'sheet2.xml' which is mapped, via the 'sheet2.xml.rels' file, to a
comments sheet named 'comments1.xml'. Could this be confusing POI? Does POI
expect comments and sheet numbers to match up exactly?
Any ideas as to what to do about this?
