Hi Darius, I've adapted your code to the current API and there's a problem with the current implementation, when a TextBox is initialized with the empty string and then modified by further appendText calls.
I'll try to fix it in the next few days. Maybe my test class [1] might be of interest to you, as it shows a convenient way to deal with html text.
