hi Bala, i never tried myself but i did notice a few weeks ago that on Vultr they posted a walkthrough for CentOS 7 and Prediction 0.12.0: https://www.vultr.com/docs/how-to-install-and-use-apache-predictionio-for-machine-learning-on-centos-7
there really shouldn't be any issue afaik, i never had problems using spark and hadoop on centOS and it seems that the steps for prediction are pretty much the same for ubuntu.
