Hullo all, I have confirmed from the LDAP (Windows) folk that, although ldapsearch queries are set out as (with no port specified) :
ldapsearch -H ldaps://host The port is 636 by default. If I run ldapsearch with the port included, the search fails. Ranger usersync install.properties, enforces the port (I have tried setup without specifying the port) or it will fail. Because of this, /etc/ranger/usersync/conf/ranger-ugsync-site.xml also has the port. Could this be a problem? I have no errors but also no users or groups in Ranger admin. Marc
