Ok. I updated the configuration in Ambari UI. (is that what you meant, not the Ranger UI but the ambari UI, right ?) Then I tested to execute the script you mentioned but I got the following error message : ### # /usr/hdp/current/ranger-usersync/updatepolicymgrpassword.sh Please enter policymgr username: rangerusersync Please enter policymgr password: [2016/05/13 17:40:13]: [I] Storing policymgr usersync password in credential store Error: Could not find or load main class org.apache.ranger.credentialapi.buildks ERROR: Required file, not found: /usr/hdp/current/ranger-usersync/conf/unixauthservice.properties, Aborting installation ###
I'll retry with the Custom usersync-properties ? Maybe it will create this property file ? BR. Lune.
