Have you gotten past this yet? I don't see anything interesting in the log snippet you sent. Any other glues what the root cause might be? One hint: sometimes exceptions show up in catalina.out and not roller.log. - Dave
However, when I try to go to the Server Admin->Configuration page I get half the web page displayed, up to the menu bar, and the following in JBoss's server.log: 2007-05-29 00:07:10,745 ERROR [org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[jboss.web].[localhost]] Exception Processing ErrorPage[exceptionType=java.lang.Exception, location=/WEB-INF/jsps/error.jsp] java.lang.IllegalStateException
