Is this the problem I was having.   I gave up with blog consolidation from
remote site because the local blogs did not appear in the blog role, (Well
except for old blog users.)

Those that already had blogs in the blog role from the 3.1 version would
still have new blog entries added.  New users added at release 4,0 would not
get their blogs to appear.  I never got to the bottom of this, gave up in
despair and stopped using the agrrgator.
