The reason for not deploying in it's own context is that linking to the blog
from the main site would mean the use of a subdomain. As far as I am aware
that would mean that the search engines would see two separate web sites and
dilute the ranking. The idea is that the blogs would help promote the site
with the additional content they carry - a sub domain prevents this.
Is there a conflict with the main site and roller (e.g. classes,web.xml,
etc.). If not they both can reside within the same
context.
