Yes you are right I did have the enable email activation of new
accounts option set  when I created a new blog. I have turned it off now in the 
ADMIN settings.

I was also trying to use a test server called TestMailServerTool but that was 
NOT generating the email in its dump file.

I also looked in the rollerdb to find out the generated email but couldn't find 
it.

I would like this option set just to find out if it works.
