I don't think Roller can do this, but does it sound like an RFE that's
worth having?
Here's the request I got:
We were thinking about promoting blogs more to novice blog readers.
We wondered whether we could pre-populate a newly created
blog with a first entry with some standard "how to use this blog"
content?
I think we're talking along the lines of the 'this is your first post'
article that Wordpress generates for new blogs. Does that sound
like a not too dumb idea?
I can see it working like
1. admin users creates a special draft post
2. tick a box and make that the default 'new post'
3. future blogs that are created get that post copied in as their first article
One obvious gotcha is that you'd need to figure out how to avoid your
Planet filling up with 'welcome to Roller type posts'.
Any opinions one way or the other?
