You should try to use the jms or jca flow instead of the cluster one.
These are basically the same, because they all use ActiveMQ.
These are already available in the 1.1 branch of ServiceMix, but there are
a few things that need to be fixed (see thread with Craig Walls) on the
list.
I'll try to update the roadmap page, but 2.0 is definitely due before xmas.

I'm thinking of depreciating ActiveCluster for version 2 because
it's functionality can be replaced entirely by the JmsFlow.
I was about to spend a couple of days studying how the ServiceMix (v
1.0) NMR "cluster" flow implementation works, but if you are planning
on completely re-writing it perhaps that would just be a waste of time.
So is it possible to be more definitive than "thinking of deprecating"
it because I need to decide whether to study the current
implementation or wait for version 2.
BTW, my understanding is version 2 is about a "month or so" away. Is
that right? Does that really mean this side of xmas or is it just some
vague date somewhere off in the future? Can somebody please update the
roadmap info ( http://www.servicemix.org/Roadmap ) for version 2?
Thanks
