Hi

Are they "session" scoped - If so you won't get them to work. If you read
the docs, ViewControllers are "request" scoped. This goes to the whole
purpose of the ViewControllers - They are there to serve your request, and
then go away. If you need to preserve state the do it in ordinary "session"
scoped beans.

PS: Try Clay instead - I think it has a lot more going for it. I am going to
post a couple of tutorials on the Wiki during the weekend.

Emne: Facelets + Shale -> invoke prerender()

Hi, thanks for reading my post!

I have tried integrating Facelets with Shale framework.
But I can not get the ViewController methods preprocess, prerender working -
they will never be invoked.

My question is, is there any good guideline how to get it working? My guess
is that I have reference problems to the backing bean. The backing bean name
must be in a given pattern as described in
http://shale.apache.org/shale-view/apidocs/org/apache/shale/view/impl/Defaul
tViewControllerMapper.html

Thanks Thomas
