Well, personally I'd like to see a Shiro "cookbook", similar to what's on the Apache PDFBox site: http://pdfbox.apache.org/userguide/cookbook.html It's a great idea: Write up a list of real-world examples of how to use Shiro's various features, then cover each one in detail, providing context and source code as needed. Users who are hoping to use Shiro to solve a specific problem can consult the various recipes in the cookbook and, in the process, will see several examples of Shiro best practices in action.
