I'm very interested in this topic as well. I have been looking around for information on how to setup Shiro with Oracle Coherence, but there really isn't that much information I have found so far.
What I have also noticed is that doGetAuthenticationInfo an doGetAuthorizationInfo make 2 separate calls to the user management system. What is the reason behind that? Shouldn't the second call be part of getting user info for authentication?
