Michael, I've been working on a side project to port Shiro's API to .NET, as I
have time, for a while. As indicated in the
integrating-apache-shiro-with-asp-net-mvc response, it's still only perhaps a
third complete. However, it is now publicly accessible if people are interested
in helping, or providing feedback on what has been ported so far. Shiro.NET is
available on GitHub:git clone https://github.com/katasource/shironet.git
shironet
I've got many of the primary interfaces in place, and I'm working on porting
the implementations. Unfortunately, the work has been quite slow as my focus
has been on building out Katasoft's initial product release. That said,
finishing the Shiro.NET port (perhaps under a different name to keep the ASF
happy--suggestions are welcome) is a high priority for Katasoft and something I
will likely be devoting more focus to soon (It's been discussed at several
company meetings). Hope this helps,Bryan TurnerKatasoft,

Hi,
I am interested in the intended Shiro & .Net interaction. I found two links:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3508502/is-there-any-good-opensource-acl-framework-or-libaryjava

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4595330/integrating-apache-shiro-with-asp-net-mvc

Does this represent the latest information? Has anyone else worked in this
area?

Thanks, Michael
