Session events with native sessions?

If I am using Shiro native sessions, can I track events like attributes 
being added and removed, in the way that I can with HTTP sessions by 
implementing HttpSessionListener, HttpSessionBindingListener, 
HttpSessionAttributeListener, etc.?
