I guess anyone working with Shiro in a Java EE 6 context has a need for a JSF 2.1 integration [1] and a CDI integration [2] which are missing in Shiro 1.2.1.
[1] is present on trunk but not released. [2] has a patch which when applied to trunk passes all tests. Shiro 1.2.1 was released 7 months ago. There doesn't seem to be a lot of activity on trunk lately. Is there any good reason for not simply applying the CDI patch and then releasing trunk as 1.3.0?
