It was the exception being thrown within my authentication routine.
hibernate didnt like Integer being used in my HitCounter entity
so I used long instead of try to figure out why my Integers are always null

Now I got my users being authenticated... I just cannot see tapestry-security
working.
I login with administrator and I can edit everything with my roles and
permissions.
I login in with anonymous (who has no permissions) and it can edit everything.
???
Well my realm speaks for itself for what its doing for authorization.
