Thanks, domfarr and Les. I misspoke: I meant to say, How do I find the realm that created the user associated with a session? In my case, each subject is in a single realm, and I have multiple realms with distinct subjects and distinct roles (and permissions). If I want an authorized subject to modify the roles for their own realm (and not other realms), I need to figure out what realm they are associated with. Does that make more sense?
This might have pointed me in the right direction. + Richard -- View this message in context: http://shiro-user.582556.n2.nabble.com/How-to-find-the-realm-that-created-a-session-tp7579440p7579457.html Sent from the Shiro User mailing list archive at Nabble.com.
