The JDBCRealm in Shiro supports connection pooling as far as I know. But are the DataSources cached in Shiro ?
I mean every time there is an authentication request is the JNDI DataSource looked up from the context.xml ? If so that is highly inefficient. Any way I can cache that ? And what does
