This has already been ported from Shark, and is used when you run cacheTable. > Also will both HiveQL & SQLParser be kept updated? > Yeah, we need to figure out exactly what we are going to do here, but we do plan to keep HQL support and improve the standard SQL parser. We'd like to do something a little closer to a SQL standard, but it'll likely take a while before we have something like full SQL-92 support.
