to *JdbcRDD* rdd = *new* *JdbcRDD*(sc, getConnection, sql, 0, 100, 1, getResultset, ClassTag$.*MODULE$*.apply(String.*class*)); Here: 0 - lower bound 100 - upper bound 1 - number of partitions i believe.
