Hi, Did you try to reduce number of executors and cores? usually num-executors * executor-cores = number of parallel tasks, so you can reduce number of parallel tasks in command line like ./bin/spark-submit --class org.apache.spark.examples.SparkPi \ --master yarn-cluster \ --num-executors 3 \ --driver-memory 4g \ --executor-memory 2g \ --executor-cores 1 \ --queue thequeue \ lib/spark-examples*.jar \ 10 for more details see https://spark.apache.org/docs/1.2.0/running-on-yarn.html
