Hi Deenar, As suggested, I have moved the hive-site.xml from HADOOP_CONF_DIR ($SPARK_HOME/hadoop-conf) to YARN_CONF_DIR ($SPARK_HOME/conf/yarn-conf) and use the below to start pyspark, but the error is the exact same as before.
