Hi I realize this is a little off topic. My project needs to install something like Kafka. The engineer working on that part of the system has been having a lot of trouble configuring a single node implementation. He has lost a lot of time and wants to switch to something else. Our team does not have any Kafka experience.
What has your experience been? Does Kafka have a high cost of ownership? I.E. Is it hard to configure, maintain and operate? Kind regards Andy
