Hi All, Sqoop Job stores password in Sqoop Metastore as plain text.Is there a way to encrypt this password as this is visible during Sqoop show Job ?
The only way to encypt is using a password file but this option is not scalable as if there are more than 100 Jobs for different users then it needs to create more than 100 files.Also to change password later on will require changes at more than 100 places. Please help me in resolving this? Thanks, Shashank Tandon
