I don't recall seeing this documented anywhere, so I thought I'd ask here. My group has a bunch of reusable bolts and each one has an emit statement at the end of execute. Now my question is... what happens if there is no follow on bolt? Does storm just drop the tuple or does it sit there until the message times out? Or something else altogether?
