Subject: Unable to process topology fast?

Hi,

I executed all storm examples.
i designed the application with one spout and two bolts. here my spout is
reading list of files content and emitting to bolt.
here i want to process everything fast can you help me with what are the
configurations need to set.

That means what are minimum basic configurations are for normal topology and
trident, when i read doc some confuse.

In trident i designed trident state example (reduced by key ), which will
perform good when i having 10 files each file contains 1000 records but when i
increase file content( number of records 1000 to anything like 100000) the
execution process is slow , how can i perform fast please help me.

Thanks for your Help !
