Any helps? Basically, I want my program read that information instead of looking at the storm UI all the time.

I have checked a few related blogs, but they are mainly discussing how to use the metric UI to build our own metric updates in spout or bolt and expose to say, log. Instead of building my own, I just want to get the information that are exposed (internally) to Storm UI, so I would like to see a simple trick to do that. Any hints? help? Thanks. Tony.
