There was a security issue with that patch. We pulled it out because of that
issue, but I would love to see support for it added back in. To make it
actually secure is a non-trivial amount of work. If there are people in the
community who want to help implement this feature I am happy to file the
corresponding JIRA and explain the work that would be needed, but for the time
being it is not on the top of my priority list, and with the JStorm merger it
is not likely to get to the top until well after that work is done.
