My topology throws this error “java.lang.RuntimeException: Returned channel was actually not established”after correct running for a while. It recoveries well when I restart the topology. So it is not caused by network problem. So what is the actual reason?
I find this post http://stackoverflow.com/questions/31975421/storm-worker-died-after-running-for-2-hours , it is similar to my problem, but I am not enable gc logging explicitly in “worker.childopts” and not sure if it is enabled in default. The version I am using is 0.9.5. Regard, Junfeng Chen
