Interesting. I know for a fact that Google sometimes includes apache mailing list entries in its search results. However, STORM-1843 doesn’t seem to show up, nor even STORM-2204 which has a bunch of instances from a few months ago. This is in the “custom” google search bar at top of page on https://www.apache.org/foundation/mailinglists.html
In the public google search, I see some results from mail-archive.com, but not directly from mail-archives.apache.org. I’ve opened https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-14083 to request investigation from INFRA. Does it work for you? STORM-1843 site:mail-archives.apache.org Should find something like this: http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/storm-dev/201705.mbox/%3CCAFA8zGmABq-muz%2BJjmH4SCN-qOtUQHrc8Aehdiw2YSAzbR8yKw%40mail.gmail.com%3E From: [email protected] Subject: Re: Searching Archives Google indexes the apache email archives. Specify “site:mail-archives.apache.org” in your search string. I only see browsing by month. If available, this will significantly reduce repeat questions. http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/storm-user/ << gA mind is like a parachute.
