LIFE CYCLE OF TOPOLOGY IN STORM

Hi All,
We have successfully run topology in storm. But we want to know the life time 
of a particular topology in storm. After running one topology should we want to 
kill that particular topology and then we want to run another topology?? we 
have this confusion. Please resolve us.
