Only topologies submitted to the Storm cluster using StormSubmitter are displayed in the UI.
When topologies are submitted in Local Mode, the Localcluster class just simulates a Storm cluster using a VoltDB instance to store data in memory. Your topologies are not submitted to the actual storm cluster and hence are not displayed on your UI. Local Mode is usually used to develop the topology and test whether it is working correctly.
