I jsut found out this very neat way of compressing our struts pages using GZIP for faster transfer. Basically we'll use a filter to ZIP our pages.

But if you have downloaded Tomcat, look for compressionFilter java files in Tomcat installation folder (usually inside your Program Files in Windows OS), and use it as a filter.
i am experimenting with this technique.. Has anyone tried this before? Please share your experience. Does it really make the loading faster? Or does it actually create more headache.
