Hello.

The only use of Struts at Lands' End is currently on internal systems. I don't know if
it will ever be used on the existing customer facing website, because I don't know if
that needs re-writing. It currently works quite well and wonderful as Struts most
certainly is, it would make little sense to replace the existing system.

The list of sites was actually constructed during a thread where folks who knew for
certain that particular sites used Struts made comment. (for example: employees or
contractors who worked there).

I suspect that the part of Struts that gets the most use is the core set of
functionality (Actions, Forms etc). For example, on the project that I lead, we use
Struts 1.1, but we use almost no 1.1 features. The features of 1.0 are sufficient for
us, but we we did upgrade for the bugfixes and speed enhancements. We don't use tiles,
we don't use the validator, we don't use dynaforms etc etc. But we do use the core
functionality and love it. I would not care to develop a web application without
Struts. It just nicely takes care of the plumbing and leaves me the value-add piece of
the equation.

Hope this helps.

Simon
