I see. I just want the button to look like the other buttons in my application. So, I suppose I could take a screen shot of a submit button that is styled just how I want it, and use that to make an image button. Then it would appear to be just like all the other buttons on my application, even though it would be an image and not a button. So assuming I can do that, I need the image button!
So, what is the verdict, does the approach that Tim posted work or not? Or are there still issues with it? I am looking for a Mozilla-compatible solution. Sorry I have not been able to help.

Tim has solved the biggest problem, actually, which is the problem of submission where display is off in the browse button. We still have the problem of getting a value for the browse name. We also still have the problem of getting a browse value by browsing instead of manually.
You can make your image buttons look anyway you like. So, the answer, of course, to that is "yes". The advantage is that they will look the same on all browsers and will continue to do that in the future. The use of the auto button for submit cannot give you that.
