for your list you might want to considerCommons ArrayUtils?.toMap(new
MapUtils?.toMap(new String[][] {{ {"1", "A"},
{"2", "B"},
{"3", "C"},
{"4", "D"});
i dont believe you can initialize list with ':' delimiter as in
list="#{'1':'A','2':'B','3':'C','4':'D'}"
