Ok, I get it what do you want ;-) Take a look on StrutsSpringObjectFactory, you can try to cheat it by defining ApplicationContext in ServletContext: servletContext.setAttribute(WebApplicationContext.ROOT_WEB_APPLICATION_CONTEXT_ATTRIBUTE, mockWebAppContext);
