FYI... Hibernate has a createSQLQuery method in the Session class plus allows for named SQL Queries from a configuration file so you can have it fill in the "?"'d (question marked) parameters.

Our db was already there, so if you were a new project and changing schemas often, Hibernates ability to gen beans from tables etc might be nice.
