If you just create a little test.jsp and try these things out, it is easier than checking with the list. I made a little test.jsp with the following in it. Run it and check out what the window in the browser says. You have to set up your own taglib <%@ >tags, of course.
<%@ page language='java' %> <%@ page contentType='text/html; charset=UTF-8' %>
<%@ taglib uri='struts-html' prefix='html' %>
<html>
<form method='get' action='test.jsp'> <tbody> <tr> <td style="vertical-align: top; text-align: center;"> <html:submit property="method" value="countryAdd"></html:submit> </td> <td style="vertical-align: top; text-align: center;"> <html:submit property="method" value="countryEdit"></html:submit> </td> <td style="vertical-align: top; text-align: center;"> <html:submit property="method" value="countryDelete"></html:submit> </td> </tr> </tbody> </form> </html>

I apologize for this simple, stupid question.
I created a form on a JSP page. I put in the form the; <html:submit value="Save">
So, how do I get the name/value of this from my FormBean?
Would this work? <html:submit property="xxx" value="Save"> <html:reset property="xxx" value="Cancel">
And then in the form-bean, do this: public String getXXX() { return this.xxx; }
Right, now I actually have: <html:hidden property="action" value="Save"> <html:submit value="Save"> <html:reset value="Cancel">
And in the form-bean: public String getAction() { return this.action; }
Thanks for any help!
Tom
I don't see why it wouldn't help...all you can do to be sure is try though :)
Make sure that your form-bean definition xml has a form-property called xxx of course.
