Hi Amit Gupta
For DB connections u can create your own class i.e with respect to DAO Pattern
where in this class is dedicated to only manipuation of database. so in the
action class u can get the connections by calling connection method in own
class which gives connection and even u can send data to own class for
manipulations.
Regards
Naveen.

If you have your reset method empty, I dont think it
will reset your form.

Subject: DB Connection Best practice

Hi,
I wanted to insert a record into the database or
update a record in the database or
get a record from the database.

Where do I make my database connection? Is it in the Action class? Can I
make a single java class handle all of that for me?

If the above are wrong. Please let me know which is the best practice to do
this.

Thanks
Uma
