Pursuant to Eddie's recent concerns about bandwidth, there is a post
(see POST A below) that is five lines long but utilizes 262 lines. I
think that getting these down to size would be very productive. The
code Eddie complained about was 304 lines long but included the code
that would answer the question asked and end the thread. The number
of threads that repeat irrelevant matter do not bother me, but if
there is a bandwidth issue, and it is new to me, this is clearly the
place to solve it rather than making people host code answers on their
own sites, as Eddie suggested.

Hopefully, if there is a bandwidth problem, we can all cut down the
repeating of unnecessary matter in our posts.

Jack

P.S.

The post in mind is this, but this is NOT UNUSUAL and I hope Martin is
not at all offended by this example. There are thousands of similar
posts and many, many, many today alone, including some by people
concerned with bandwidth.

I am looking for the:

   http://blahblahblah.com:8080/AppName/

As Craig said I can get that if I have a Request object. But from a
PlugIn I don't have that. I can think of some ugly hacks but nothing
clean.
