I understand how a chain works. Filters in the servlet API are a good example. They are as you say, Vic, very useful. And I have some idea of what the Struts chain is all about: http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=28092. What I don't quite see is how they or CoR replace IoC. IoC seems to me to address a completely different and consistent set of solutions to a completely different and consistent set of problems. So, if you could explain this, I would appreciate it.
