Actually, it *can* be a liability to mention anything that management don't want spoken of. For example: we're about to start a selection process for a continuous integration tool and someone (name withheld to protect the innocent, but it wasn't me) mentioned (name of tool withheld to protect the innocent). Management immediately went into damage limitation and spin control mode. It would have been funny if it wasn't so sad.
