Damned, and I actually thought I found one :-)

But seriously, I think the "silver bullet" of the software development
is not the technology but the process.
_Listen_ to the customer, _understand_ the problem (your customer's
problem, no what you think he's problem is) , _analyse_ the problem,
provide best solution.

This is of course very philosophical, but, sadly enough, not many
developers actually master it.
