i want to pupulate "name" after the form is submitted.

how can i get "ItemType" in my action class?

My take on this is that you don't need the hidden field. Let the user
submit the form, which will include the 'code'.
If you really need the 'name' in the form bean, then do that after the
form is submitted, in the Action-- look up the name in WebConstants
using the submitted 'code' and set the form property.
But I don't even think you need that... what do you eventually use
'name' for after the form is submitted?
