I hope I am doing something wrong. I followed the instructions from
the Struts Cookbook pp372 but my results are not happy ones.

If the page has to redirect to a different mode then it's a new request.
The same would happen redirecting to the same mode. I don't know as I'd
say "requests are passed around."
