Not really strange though because IE7 is largely an unknown quantity... I don't know too many people that have tested code against it yet (I know I haven't), so who knows what problems Microsoft may have introduced. The code in that article doesn't look like anything fancy though, so it does worry me that something so simple doesn't work in IE7. But, if you can narrow it down to the exact line causing the problem, that's the starting point for figuring out how to get around it.
