You rock! Yeah, the advice was "look for the Freemarker template with the same name as your tag and simply change it to generate well-formed HTML". In all fairness, tomorrow I'll post the trivial web page that is failing. I think the reason the page does not render correctly is due to the TABLE not FORM tags. I really want S2 to kick butt, but right now it's a mystery just what is expected to make it work.
